Our Charism holds three treasures
Monastic Life of Prayer and Community
St. Benedict
One of the manifold gifts of the Holy Spirit on the Church is the vocation to Missionary Benedictine religious life, which is a particular way of living the Gospel and is rooted in the Rule of St. Benedict.
Mission to bring Christ to the World
“That God may be glorified in all things”.
Through religious profession we commit ourselves to follow Christ in religious community (conversatio morum). Our whole life is oriented to the service and glory of God.
Call to Embrace Diversity
We are different … yet one
We are one – this means that we really understand one another, that we speak slowly, that we listen carefully, that we ask, whenever we do not understand, that we have patience.

The Missionary Benedictine way is seeking God with others in a common life.
This way of faith is under the guidance of the Scriptures, the Rule of St. Benedict, and a superior.
“우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로. 아멘.
오랜 수도승 전통을 지닌 베네딕토회 수녀로서, 수녀들은 공적으로 서원합니다.
“to follow Christ in religious community, to persevere in the Congregation, and to live in obedience.”
하나님의 임재에 대한 의식은 개인적인 기도와 함께하는 기도를 통해 길러지고 자라납니다.
The Sisters gather daily for Opus Dei, common divine praise, and the Eucharist.
In addition, “lectio divina–Scripture, other spiritual reading and interior prayer”

“United by the Spirit of Love and a common vision, the sisters walk the way of faith.”
On this way, they are challenged
“서로를 향한 사랑을 매일의 현실로 만드는 것, 그것은 상호 간의 신뢰와 존경을 보여줍니다.
The love of Christ impels us to participate in the missionary service of the Church, to show and to speak of that love which God has for all of his creatures, to listen and to learn from others how God is at work in them and in all of Creation.
Living out the baptismal vocation is a lifelong process.
The Missionary Benedictine way offers a particular guidance in this lifelong process of transformation into Christ.
Only on the way of faith can the sister say that
“the Lord Jesus is especially present to the religious community through the Superior.
” The Rule of St. Benedict gives clear prominence to the role of the Abbot in guiding the life of a community and its members.
